Cabochons were sprayed once with Satin Shine Seal. For extra protection you can spray again. Each cab has two small .5MM holes to tack down while you are beading for extra security. 

Cabochons will have a burnt wood smell that will dissipate over time. Each cab might be slightly different from the next in wood grain and colour as solid Red Alder sheets were used for these cabs.
